Your an idiot he didn't take steroids, get your facts straight. He was suspended for using the diuretic; spironolactone. It's used to help cut weight by removing water. It's not aloud so he was suspended for it. Although it is also used as a masking agent for steroids but Thiago has been tested many times and has never tested positive it's called sacrifice and dedication.

I doubt that thiago weighs as much as what people say. I truly think he walks at 205 or less. I mean 5'9 isnt a big frame, and cutting 40 pounds is pushing it. However Anthony johnson cuts more weight then any other WW. Last time he missed weight, he was trying to cut from 220lbs.

Haha, thats what I am actually talking about. He is insanely muscular. With Alves, you can be sure that all his weight is from muscle, not bone mass or fat.

I remember reading somewhere that he walks around at a weight higher than Marquardt! Marquardt is naturally 195lbs, whereas Alves is 210-220lbs. If he can improve the speed of his punching, ala Manhoef, he could reasonably move up to middleweight and cause some damage there.

He is jacked up, But if you look at him closly, He has a huge chest and upper body but small legs, thats why he looks so big at the weight, plus he's only like 5,9 so he's quite short for his weight.

He's a beast when it comes to muay thai though, His kicks and knees are just insane. The best kicks in the ufc in my opinion.
