  • Obama is the first Half-Caste biracial president not black.

  • Your problem is that you go out of your way to believe in illogical, unsubstantiated nonsense than the truth.

The truth is, no Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States shall be eligible to the Office of President.

Naturalization Act of 1790 - "And the children of citizens of the United States that may be born beyond the sea, or out of the limits of the United States, shall be considered as natural born citizens."

    Duh.

  • children will now dream that anything is possible. one man decided to stand taller and speak louder. and for that history was made. imagine what we could be if we all spoke a little louder and stood a little taller.

  • Finally something to be happy about...44 is my new lucky number...I just can not wait until 1/20/09....Another great day is coming!!! God Bless America! To those who voted/or did not or could not...You all helped in one way or another to make history happen!

  • God elect Barack Obama to be the 44 United Sates of America president. Thank you God for hearing my and my children's prayer. You answered it.

  • Well...

    Atleast Mccain congratulated Obama,

And Obama congratulated Mccain and Palin.

I hope Obama leads us to change.

    x)

  • why does america have to police the whole damn world...i hope obama pays more attention to whats happening here in the U.S.

  • This is an amazing time in America and all across the world. Let's embrace our republican friends and take them along for the ride. We are a better nation when we're united. SO IN THE SPIRIT OF HOPE I JUST WANT TO SAY "YES WE DID"

  • I'm a proud mexican american and obama had my vote im so proud of being a American! im from mississippi & I'm ready to see the world being treated equally I also cryied his speech just touched me I'v never in my life felt this exicted before "I am ready for change" thankyou to everyone who made History along with me.

  • When McCain congratulated Obama, the crowd booed. When Obama aknowledged McCain the crowd applauded.

  • I noticed that too :/

  • because he was the winner - its easy to be gracious when you are the winner - not so easy if you have lost.

  • I take your point, but the republicans put themselves forward as though they have a monopoly on ivy league colleges and therefore superiorily educated. They should be more gracious.
