Is it just me, or was the animation in this game better on actual hardware? I remember the animation being so smooth that it might as well have been 3D polygons.

AndrosynthNuclear, it's now over three years since I made this video. So, I don't really remember what difficulty it was set to. But I'm pretty sure it's one of the more difficult ones but it's not "World Class". But it doesn't matter as I'm not saying I'm one of the best OMF players, I even don't want to be one, I just made a nice video.

The reason I use the Jaguar is because I'm best with it and I like it the most.

I don't know the destruction moves. Do I have to know them?

Why are people so afraid of using any other bot except the jaguar? Its not that OP! For example, I am rather proficient with both the shadow and the electra. In fact, I hate the jaguar all together, I'm too slow with it and the computer is too fast with it, lol. Also, what difficulty are you playing on? Do you even know the destruction moves? And so ends my interrogation :P

Not only the bots put up some mediocre challenge in your video, but you get less points than I do on veteran.

Well, maybe you can. I actually use an emulation software called DosBOX to run in on my new computer. Their site says it also runs on a Mac OS X, but I didn't and can't try that option.

If you set it up right and have a decently powerful CPU, it is fine. My Athlon 2500+ can run games up to about the speed of a Pentium 100 (running actual DOS).

Ok then. But I only have a Celeron M 1.5 GHz laptop (I am a university student, need I say more). But it is quite a shame that one would need 2.5 GHz to emulate 100 MHz. That's like 25 times reduction of performance. If only VDM Sound were maintained and it would have had VESA and Joystick emulation properties, it could have been perfect! How about using a virtual machine (like MS Virtual PC)? The performance penalty should be a lot less.

Yes, yes, but it works fine in this case. As for VDM sound, it didn't work for me. Virtual machine? Never did try it, so, maybe.
