same function, wind mills are used for pumping water, generationg electricity,

little known fact: wind mills have been used to generate electricity as early as the 1930's, farmers did this becasue they were normaly far off the grid, this was before underground lines.

ummm... those aren't in Palm Desert, they're right near Snow Creek- you know, White Water/ Palm Springs.
