The reason the graphics don't look great is 1.) it is originally an old game and 2.) The screen is really big on the trailer so it would look better on a smaller ipod touch.

@L4veyan dude...seriously...?...its a port...and the world in driver is big...so...tbh..graphics don't fail and its a phone/mp4 player..its pretty high for a phone or an mp3 player...and it can't get graphics like real racing 2....the game would be limited to...like 6 streets

yeah, on the main menu of the game go onto (if i remember) options. There should be a cheat option. You can select for there to be, or not to be, police and damage.
