This video clears up just how torque'y and quick the brushless revo really is. Finally... someone who knows how to run their car hard and catch a video of it! Great video
i have lipoli battery 3s 2200ma 11.1v for hobby plane and helicopter i will like to now if you can be use this battery for revo, and if i purchase the new brusles version will be beter.plase send me answer i nead to purchase this car,i do not have idea vhat is difrent with new version only i read is brusles sped controler and motor. ty
hey di you like these batteries? like wheelies on demand because it between these or 11.1. how long do thwey last and do you think they are enough power.would you have rather got the 11.1? plz respond back
Nah, that's utter rubbish. Look at the Rustler and any of the other RTR brushless stuff. They all come with 27mhz cheapo radio sets and work perfectly.
You've obviously never owned a 2.4ghz radio. Trust me, there is as much difference in the way your rc runs between brushless mamba max and the stock brushed motors on an emaxx.
The difference is that brushless sends off signals and i will make your radio glitch and to stop that you have to get a noise capicitor on the stock 27mhz radio.
If you upgrade to 2.4 you will have no glitches faster reaction time and a ton more range.
Trust me i know what im talking about im sponsered
@marcuskeeler - Are you originally from the UK? You must be because nobody in the USA says "Cheers". Love The E-Revo BE - Just put one together recently, was always a Nitro guy before - so it's my first Electric. Must say that the performance on 6s is outstanding. I think I really like electric now... Before hand I always thought of electrics as toys for little kids... These new brushless beasts (E-Revo, Savage Flux), have changed my mind about Electric RC.
My own 8XL died also after 30 minutes on my converted 777 Kyosho. It seized up completely, I guess it broke up inside. Mind you, I was unloading a 6S pack through it at the time so perhaps I was asking for it.
This 9L seems to be ok so far but you never know what's round the corner. I will stick with 4S as a Maximum and cross my fingers.
are you satisfied with the motor? My 8XL just crapped out on me after 30 minutes of bashing, the rear end bell fell out. I might just buy a medusa L can instead if your setup works ok.
Wat brand battery are you using and i would greatly appreciate it if you could possibly send me the specifications on the battery as far as size or tell me wat website it is on so i can look myself Thanks!!!
Nice vid. I have an E-Revo coming and I'll be doing the same motor/esc setup, with 2x6 or 7 cells. How were motor and esc temps? Also what pinion did you use? Any word on what speeds you have? Thanks
cool

Sorry I ment why is REVO car always going wheely? Is it possible to set it up to be just fast and good to race?
SirDVV 2 years ago
Why is rev going wheely in every video of it that I see?
SirDVV 2 years ago
You can add a center differential or just use throttle control when racing , wheelies are just fun .

Nice video. Is that RPM arms you have on it?
Seems like a good value for money brushless set up.
Enough torque and speed for bashing with and not overkill. For pavement though the suspension could deffo do with being more firm like you said.
What runtimes do you get with this set up and what mah are the lipos?
hardcoretam 3 years ago
As Hardcoretam said, How long can your run, Marcus? What maH capacity?
BisMaxx 3 years ago
can u have the lipo batteries on the stock motors in the e revo
KonaStinkyRid3R 3 years ago
Yes. But you should use a low voltage cut off wired in on the primary battery lead

I use the 2.4ghz system but there's no reason to change the radio if you don't want to...
marcuskeeler 3 years ago
Everybody keeps talking about how Brushless affects the way the stock radio system works...

Is a new radio required with a brushless setup like yours?

Temps so far are fine. ESC is only warm. Stock gearing (19t pinion). I reckon I could go up a few teeth with problems.
Speed around mid-40's.
Cheers !

how do you figure that? electric is cleaner, easier to maintain and more powerful.
acalthu 3 years ago
what sucks is that if u hit the throttle too much it flips over, need to get a wheelie bar
