Silly girl! You forgot the seasoned ground beef! XD

1/2 pound 90% burger, brown until crumbly, drain off the fat.

Season w/ Salt, pepper, 1/4 tsp cumin, some garlic & onion powder. Mix well.

After laying down the cheese and melting it as shown in the vid, sprinkle the ground beef over the nachos, add another layer of cheese, pop in the oven for a few minutes...

THEN toss all those other goodies on top. Melted Velveeta on the side.

Looks great.

But the only down side to using shredded cheese instead of a simple cheese sauce is when the cheese cools down (to the point to where it becomes almost solid again), when you pick up a chip, you essentially end up lifting the entire network of cheese-covered chips, making it awkward to eat..... unless you don't mind that kind of thing.

Avocado, lime juice and onions are a nice touch... but I'd rather mix them up (not too much) to make a serious, chunky guac (guacamole).

@divascancook Love your blog & videos. Quick question, do you need to spray the sheet before putting the chips on? Also, could you add refried beans or will it not be easy to spread on the chips?

@ThatLadyDray You don't NEED to spray the sheet, but some of the cheese may stick to the pan. I use aluminum foil so it's an easy cleanup.

Refried beans will make the chips soggy, so best to serve that on the side, or leave some space on the sheet pan for it so the surface of the glop of beans will crust over a bit (nice!).

I don't know if drizzleable is a word but I sure am gonna start using it because I love the way sounds lol. I just used regular sour cream, put it in a sandwich bag and snipped off the tip of the bag. I made a small batch of these last night and drizzled on some taco sauce and it was heavenly!! The taco sauce is a must now!

@divascancook You know Sunny Anderson (Cooking for Real) has a Carribean chicken wing recipe I've been wanting to try, I may give those a try for game day!!! As for the rest of the game day it may be the usual game day fare... my family not too big on trying new things... I have to ease new dishes to them in small doses!!! lol!!!
