Great job, but I wondered if Irwin Allen was told that the flying sub couldn't possibly fly. No ailerons or flaps. How can the flying sub gain lift? I know it doesn't matter and I too love all the Irwin Allen shows.

Not CGI - it was done in X-Plane or Microsoft Flight Sim. with a custom plane. Kinda cool, though

Actually, the way FS-1 entered the water from the air is suicidal. Hitting the surface from the air after being airborne would feel like slamming into a concrete wall.
