@captainmendossa Depending on the size of the trunk, there are a number of things that can be done a year in advance, (root pruning), to help a successful transplant along, but sounds like you're running out of time. One foot diameter of root ball per one inch diameter of tree trunk is a good equation to keep in mind, and the root ball should be close to half as deep as it is wide, or 4' w x 2' h. Try some B-1 vitamin mix after the move. Best of luck to you Captain!
That's a beautiful Monkey Puzzle. I can never understand why people would want to get rid of it. Hopefully it survived. I transplanted a 17' ft specimen 20 years ago and it eventually died. All of my seed grown specimens are flourishing and have been in the ground for well over 20 years now.
i'm going to transplant a medium flamboyant soon. any help?
