@XanWotomaki2 you're right it's not like the usual demo reel with bits of animation put together, but demo reels come in all sorts of formats. My school encouraged a story based demo reel, which is usually much more interesting :)
from in an animator's point of view, this is pretty good work! of course, my instreuctors tell me to stop the anime, but you did an AMAZING JOB! i felt for the characters, which is important, the aniamtion movment was very smooth and i culd tell what was happening at all times!!! this was sooo amazing i had to watch itlike three times XD O.o this is my fourth XDD great job!!!! the song also went well with it!! id LOVE to see more!!!!
@AshChan19 thanks for the compliments ^^ I had the same thing told to me back in college, but really- anime style is just a visual. What makes a good animation is story and character. This animation was totally built around this song, which is what I always do- listen, then visualize. Again thanks for the comments, I'll try to get more done ^^
