I lived in Grande Prairie for 13 years. I worked as a surveyor, and was in the bush most of the time. I surveyed plenty of wellsites near the Kakwa River, back before there were good roads down there. It seems pretty stupid now, but I never took the time to go see the falls. Too busy working to appreciate how lucky I was to be in that country.
