@westwarriors81 Yes they did break 2 windows. Maybe you didn't watch the entire video to see that the balance of windows that could have been broken were opened.
I am a ff for 17 yrs the reason they didnt break the windows was there was no reason to it was a small fire most fire depts size up the situation and determine what needs to be done we all dont run up to building swinging axes like a mad man they have people below and they probably put it out with a can
I cant wait to take the test and hope god grants me the opportunity to stand strong with a band of brothers and hold our helmets, axes, and halogens high. just wanted to add that is 47th st & broadway like you stated i believe. good vid.
Windows and their frames are "gently" removed to let a whole lot of heat and smoke out.
