Life in school gets rougher every year, I'm so glad I went to a high school where bullying and teasing didn't happen. I mean people quietly talk bad about each other, but it stops there and most of the time we get past it, we don't go openly hatin' on people. Why are there so many mean people out there? =(

I'm a little surprised many of you think this girl should fight back. How appalling for this girl to become just like one of them! It's easy to get angry. There is no better between emotion and physical bullying. Both are fucked up and equally as painful. Yes, words can hurt more than a punch, but nothing can beat that feeling you get in the pit of your stomache and heart when you know youre about to get hit; espiecially if its by someone you love like your dad. This is going to sound weird but I think emotional bullying is worse than physical, bruises heal over time but words are with you forever, I should know. I've got a phobia and some people at my school found out about it, I was a laughing stock for about four months maybe five, it still happens a litte, but everynight I wish I was getting beaten up instead of humiliated. People are so cruel.

I was lucky enough to have parents that say 'if somebody touches you, BEAT THE FUCK OUT OF THEM , they DON'T have a fucking right.' Although my heart certainly goes out to the really sensitive kids who can't stand up for themselvs, all I'm saying is that sometimes the main problem can be avoided.

@zakoo2 well trust me you're lucky where you live friend. here in the us for the most part, people get bullied in horrible ways. it's not just words or shoves, it's beatings, it's locker crams, pranks, even sexual harrassment.
the only way i've found to be rid of it is either to have a shell of hatred, or to make an example when the time comes. america, is full of itself sometimes. if you're not speaking exactly like us, some people will pick on you.
my friend from the uk was beat up for it.

When bullies use words, it can cause mental and emotional damage and that can cause even worse damage when the inner damage can bring a kid to suicide. It's especially damaging with the internet 'cause bullies can send an email saying nasty things and use a screen name. That way, bully victims don't know who their friends are or who to trust. Mostly, it's friends who stab them in the back and bully them. That alone can hurt.

I got told that it is very commun that most girls/women likes to hurt other girls/women, as a way of feeling more powerful. It is silly when teenage girls act this way, yet it is even more silly when grown up women already having their own families starts acting rude and mean towards others not doing them any harm at all.

But through the yers, I learned to forgive the people. Studies now show that the brain is not fully mature until we are in our middle 20s.
