  • Topspin lob down the line and follow up to the net, for highest chance to finish in the next volley or overhead...

  • The most effective shot, with high percentage, is down the middle with lots of topspin, low to Brian's backhand. Low backhand volley is difficult to return offensively, often, it will be popped up for an easy volley or overhead. Both alley shots (cross court or down the line) are possible, but much harder to execute, not much room for error. Lob is possible, which Brian will probably get, but they'll gain better position at the net.

  • I would hit the net tape and get the super drop shot.

  • @aonutube Love it, and believe me, if I could teach you that shot, I would!

  • i would lob the ad court guy, but from the look of that guy's positioning, i doubt he can pull off any kind of lob. so probably hit back cross court low...

  • @nhat8121 OK. Both of those are good choices as I noted in my responses below.

Good high percentage plays for sure.

  • I'd play the ball back to Brian at his feet and close quickly anticipating a high reply.

  • @frenchpj Another great shot selection that is super high percentage, especially if Rick then closes in behind it. Good call.

  • The return doesn't look like it has a lot of pace so lob over the guy in red, preferably toward his backhand side so even if he makes a bad lob, a backhand overhead won't beat you.

  • @andrewxleung That lob sure looks inviting, doesn't it? Good choice Andrew.
