Uhhh....no, he can save the clear data and will end up right back at the last save point.

You seem to forget what was shown in his other gameplay vids, where he is able to teleport right back to Gran Pulse and do side missions. That's only for the hardcore though, Darksydephil won't even do it as it will take up alot of time.
