When I used to play on teams at school we'd have to do basically the same thing--show goodwill to the opposing team, because according to the brochure, good sportsmanship builds character. I think after you lose, you should have a blubbering tantrum and walk past the other team with your arms folded and tears streaming down. It'll make their day.
