there's nothing wrong in buying cats, not only for "looks" also to make sure you're gonna be able to take good care of it, if you adopt a pet you can't really tell if it's gonna have some diseases that you might not be able to take care of in the future and then what? it's up to the person. i'd rather see a person "selecting" the pet than adopting one that he won't be able to take care of. happy owner = happier pet.

I've been looking in shelters, and I FINALLY found a american curl kitten! Her previous owner bred their mother and couldn't pay for all the kittens, so she stuck one in the shelter! There is another AM adult cat, but I just don't have the money for it :( I asked my friend if she wanted a cat! She was like, I'll think about it. After a long time ( She studies too hard some times) She agreed! I'm getting my kitty today along with my friend. Ahh, I have to put my pup in her crate!

@xMassxGravex Breeding is ok is not everyone does it. After-all, if everyone splayed and neutered their cats, there would be no domestic kitties left! Just let the professionals handle the breeding. They know how to avoid diseases. Everyone else: Adopt, splay, neuter!
