  • CrazyCornHuskerFan, excuse me, we never said anything bad not even said " ...was the richest in neighborhood....." Where did you get that info? Calm down.

  • have they gotten the F-rating for this tornado yet?

  • A preliminary damage survey Friday by the National Weather Service showed the tornado that hit Greeley was likely an E-F3, with speeds from 136 mph to 165 mph. The one in Windsor was an E-F2 or E-F3, with wind speeds between 111 mph and 165 mph.

  • Thanks for posting this. I live a little over a mile from where it hit, unbelievable. We just got our power back this morning. My heart goes out to everyone that lost their homes. I'm so glad the 120+ kids at the daycare were fine and also all the middle school kids got back to the school in time. They had a field day at Eastman Park to celebrate the last day of school and where very close to where the tornado hit.

  • The day the tornado struck, I used Google Maps to take a tour of the area around 2nd & Walnut in Windsor right at street level. I went all around the nearby park. I was grateful to see it before the destruction. It was an incredibly beautiful town. If one only sees these shots, it looks like a war zone in the third world. One cannot imagine the magnitude of the devistation. I'm very sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you and your lovely community in your efforts to rebuild your lives.

  • that was one of the worst things thats happened here for a wile i live in evans and we also had a tornado that tuched down right outside the city ill tell you what scary to think only a mile away theres a tornado

  • Its so sad, I recognize most of those places, and people. I don't think Windsor has ever had this much tradgedy ever.

God, thank you for it coming while people were at work, that is why there weren't more casualties.
