OK from the title and the description I was expecting to learn HOW TO DO the Texas Two Step. I'm sure this guy is a great dancer and all, but too much talk and too little (as in no) basic instruction.
This is not Texas two step. Texas two step drags the right foot behind the left foot instead of stepping through like regular two step. This video is about gay texan two step.
@daveheel I have and don't enjoy it as it is all choreographed. I like dancing improvisational with the music and having fun. Not prancing around acting all snotty.
@b2c095 i don't know what two step you're doing but i've been doing two step for almost two years and it's the social kind which is not at all choreographed, improvisational and about having fun. something can be said about competitive dancing as rowdy says regarding better technique, posture, musicality, etc.
Love the dance routine. VERY GOOD interview with Randy DuFrance. He explained what the Two-Step is (and some history about it). AND the dance demonstration was AWESOME!! Randy and his dance partner could definitely be winners on 'Dancing with the Stars' !!! :)
