I was watching that game, Bayern only got their form back after Rooney was subb off, with Rafael "fair red".

if either Rooney or Rafael was still on the pitch, Bayern would not even stand a chance.

@timmyfung01 Speculation. This Bayern team wasn't as good as they are now either. The backline players like Badstuber were very young in this match. They are much better now plus Neuer (who Man U wanted but couldn't get) now is in goal plus Gomez found amazing form last season with the 3rd most goals of anyone behind only Ronaldo and Messi. Bayern will be VERY good this season. I still think Dortmund could beat anyone including Barca on a good day though. Mario Goetze, Kagawa Hummels etc.

I just saw the highlight a couple days ago, Bayern just lost to Borussia 1-0 in their home. is that even a good form? and to begin with, their big signing Neuer was the one who made the mistake and gave the goal away.

Bayern is in a slump form, and I doubt they will be able to challenge the Champions League in the next few years.

@teenagedirtbag5000 Agreed, it seems that he only ever loses the ball in places that no one ever wants to lose it in. He's made that error where he tries to play a square ball across the outside of his own box and got it intercepted so many times it's become a trademark. I do hope we buy someone to replace Scholes, well, at least fill in the gap, since Scholes can't merely be 'replaced'. I've never seen anyone score a volley like his against Villa, and whats more, he's done it several times!

@jody2001 If you like good matches, you should watch the CL league final of 2005 Ac milan vs liverpool.. that has to be the best final ever.. And if you like a match like this, only on a euro tournament but with 90 minutes of pure attacking football watch Holland vs Czech on Euro 2004..
