  • i like the white handled knife in the black sheath.

    just looks kewler...mho

  • Very good !

  • i would like them both more if. the black one had a white or silver thread. or the brown one had a black or brown thread.

  • Hey Wako,

Do you like the Bravo with the swedge tip??

  • @millsdixon Yes. I like it very much. I will never like the spear point though. Thanks.

  • @virtuovice what kind of point do you prefer? and why if not for looks?

  • @frozenwalkway I have a regular one and a swedged one here for the next hunt. The spine line and the belly line to the tip is nearly the same between the two. The sweded one is a hair bit more drop point and has a better look. I know the regular one is not good at stabbing. The swedge design can improve it. I don't baton wood at all. So I prefer the swedge design. Thanks.

  • What happened to your other videos on the Crappy sheath for the Bravo 1 ?

  • @razor308

Issue was resolved and he took it down since there is no point keeping it up. BRKT has indicated that they stopped shipping the bad sheaths.

  • @TheBladebuster did BRKT offer to do a recall for those owners with these sheaths or are they stuck with them ?

  • @razor308 '

From what I read - BRKT will replace the sheath in 2 weeks when the new sheath are ready.

  • @TheBladebuster Thanks for the reply. Be interesting if BRKT will openingly offer this solution on the knife forum to those stuck with their crappy sheath.

  • @razor308 I am a big fan of Bark River knives. They stated they would never ship that crappy sheath again and I took down my negative videos for BRKT. Thanks.

  • I like your color combos!

  • I like the black sheath with the white handle!

  • Comment removed

  • bambo scales with black sheeth best combo!

  • Very good Wako. Thanks. ~Wolf

  • That is some nice sheaths you got from KSF. What do you think about Dakota sheaths available on DLT site?

  • @ridnovir It looks as good as my new sheath. I was just a bit more familiar with KSF because DLT and TKC sites cannot be viewed properly on any of my Mac computers even with the latest Lion OS. Thanks.

  • yes those sheaths are much better . hats off to BR for making it right ! the other sheath was a crappy one for sure , congratulations Virtuovice. very nice

  • @Tex1911a1m14 I don't think these rugged sheaths will come as a new one. They are $56 deluxe sheaths. Thanks.

  • That red looks great with the black sheath....

  • I would like to see these BEARS you keep talking about. Can you hunt bear in winter? Can you hunt with dog for bear or other game?

  • @haff202 Bears go to winter sleep in December. So November is the season for bear hunting. I have once met a bear during the season. But it ran away without stopping. I am much accustomed to shooting deer when it stops. So I didn't have a chance then. Real bear hunters seem to do it in a group with dogs. I am a lone Ninja hunter and I will never get a bear because generally speaking it senses my approaching much earlier than deer and runs away before I spot it. Thanks.

  • I think it is safe to say youtube is not useless

  • Hey Wako,I really like the new black sheath. It looks good with the reddish handle. The full cover sheath is something I've never seen.It looks like it would keep snow off the handle.I like it for that reason.I'm glad you got the new black sheath, now let's see some trophy bucks on your next hunt.If you run hot water over the loose sheath and let it dry.The sheath will shrink if you place it by some heat, not too close.Good luck on your next hunt. Thanks for the video.

  • Hay man that's a prety beefy sheath! I like it very much. Aspecelly the black sheath with the lighter colored Handel looks very nice

  • Congratulations, Wako-sama... I believe Bark River made their decisions you brought the issue out in the open to the YouTube community. Thank you for your efforts on behalf of all of us! You are one of the true leaders of the community!

  • Red on black is beautiful. I wonder if the EEP sheath would look nice as well.

  • Red on black is best!

  • Hey wako i just sent you a pm. Please read it! =)

  • Virtuovice is back in black...beautiful solution!

  • Cool color combination and practical new sheath! Enjoy!

  • lol its good to hear that the sheath Drama is going to go away and they stop making that piece of crap sheath, the new black sheath is Beautiful with the redish/stain handle, although I love black on black on my cars/trucks, the black on handle and black sheath does not look as good as the redish handle. also I am becoming a big knife fan because of your great videos keep up the good videos wako

  • Hello Wako, Can you tell me where you found the announcement that this 2011 'crappy' sheath will not be shipped anymore with the Bravo-1?

  • @tfhr1977 That statement was given to my video "Cutlet and Sheath", and they directly PMed me more frankly. Thanks.

  • @virtuovice There was also a thread about it last night on the knife forums site but Mike Stewart pulled it off. Before he did whoever he went on another rant about how "hurtfull" this was to his company . He also claimed the new Bravo1 sheath design was made to replace the KYDEX Bravo sheaths from three years ago. He seems to think his costumers are dummies and have never seen the ORIGINAL Bravo 1 sheath which was just fine! It is sad watching them blame Waku and Youtube for THEIR error.

  • @handsomewood1 Some guy let me know of it and I read it. I felt like I was called "it" in there. It could be my misunderstanding, but If they called me "it" literally, I would take it as insult and could be allowed to get angry with it. Anyway I was not able to understand what they wanted to say in there. Thanks.

  • @virtuovice Waku Please correct the spelling of your name)- I feel that Bark River and Sharpshooter Systems have been very disrespectful to both YOU, their Knife Forum members and YOUTUBE on that thread. Of course any factory maker cannot allow customers to dictate EVERY aspect of a design and still maintain factory prices-. But Bark River/Mike Stewart should treat any customer who owns DOZENS of their products and promotes their good points on Youtube much more RESPECTFULLY and SERIOUSLY..

  • black goes well with both knifes however the red one does not look good in the brown one, therefore black with red and brown with the bamboo handle one

  • I am not convinced the Soap Opera is over. My prediction is there will be another Bark River quality problem and the drama will continue. Hopefully you can get away from this Bark River soap opera and get back to hunting.

  • @Freedom100fan You say a very good thing. I am thinking of the very same thing. I am rather tired with what you say soap opera. I am basically an outsider. Thanks.

  • wako out of these two different blades 3v and A2 which one you think is bad ass. Oh yes red and black baby all the way shit look sick. Thanks

  • @ikonik69 I am in evaluation of the 3V Bravo1. I will continue to use it until it cuts nothing without any stropping. But after a single stag dressing it was still razor sharp. Thanks.

  • Good sheath - is very safe and good loking.

  • Definitely the black and red combination! Very good points regarding sheath features, experience is so important...thank you.

  • I think the black and red looks the nicest

  • @steveo6891 I think so too. Thank you!

  • I prefer black sheath with Bravo 1 :)

  • KSP

  • Great video. Thank you. Love the new KSK sheath.

  • Glad To see that the Sheath issue is resolved. if KSF will no longer send out BRKT with Crappy sheath. that is wonderful. the new full cover sheath was designed to give many knife users an optiion of carry.. thanks again for informative videos.

  • You have some beautiful knives, friend :)
