  • the drums are deff steve jordan vocals and guitar are deff John... bass is deff pino so I guess its the trio

  • Of course its definitely the trio, listen on the solo! =]

  • yeah definately steve jordan, the kick and snare sound way different.

  • JJ Johnson doesn't hit the kick drum like Steve does... Steve also plays more consistent and doesn't do as much fills as JJ does... that's what makes Steve that much more of a musician's drummer! Perfect groove!

  • + steve has a smaller, more punchy kick

  • it sounds a bit funkier......

that's what i like about the trio! :D

  • @vista1995 the original is just as funky ha. the synthesizer is just over the guitar so you cant hear this sweet riff :p

  • yes this is the trio it was recorded at the tempe festival in arizona

  • Are you sure this is the trio?

  • i'm quite positive :)

  • Yeah, you can tell by Steve Jordan's playing as well.

  • yeh...no doubt the trio...no doubt.

  • @bambambambamt i know that your post is old but they should be too drunk !!!!!!!!!

  • @bambambambamt The fact that you can hear bass, drums, and guitar only kind of gives it away...

  • sounds a little raggae-ish to me.

    chaferbud for president.

  • why thank you sir haha

  • i dont hear raggae when i listen to this track and i listened to it like 5 times

  • @guitarbaby008

john hits a few of the chords on off beats which is reggae style. its only a couple of times but for a little while it kinda gives a remotely reggae-ish type vibe.
