Rainy days like every step are not copies of each other but are from the same record company therefore if the label allowed both to sing the same tune and song its okay so they didn't copy each other nor one took another song.. so before you people argue get ur facts right before you make your point.. they were just released in two different countries with the same record label... the english and japanese translation are almost the same but ayumi just has a more touch to it..

Actually... the music is 100% from "Rainy Day", not if it's a translation or not, but the music is the exact same.

it's the other way round -- it's just that ayumi managed to forestall sweetbox for the album release.

ACTUALLY, Ayumi was impressed by some of the work of Jade's (Sweetbox)

upcoming album ("Addicted") and was given permission to use the melody, only re-arrange it a bit and change the lyrics.

Not only Every Step was used by Ayumi, but also "Pride", "Ladies Night", "In The Corner", "Beautiful Girl" and then "Every Step".

So Ayumi did USE the melody FROM Sweetbox' Every Step and NOT the other way around.
