I just checked.. Alexander Rybak is from Belarus, which is 750 miles / 1200 kilometers from Norway. Not really that far, but separated by the Baltic Sea. Belarus is on the main european continent - with neighbors of Russia, Lithuania, and the Ukraine. I wonder why he is said to be from Norway? Again, Norwegians should be happy to have him representing them!
