Been there. Been to ALL the sites in the video. Been there with scientists who had been returning for more than 20 years. They pointed out the changes that they'd seen over time--retreating glaciers, huge sheets of ice shelf that had broken off, and decreased salinity of sea water caused by melting glaciers and ice. Many people have stated that ice bergs do not raise sea level. They often say to do an experiment with a glass of water and ice cubes. The first problem with that experiment is that salt water is considerly more bouyant than fresh water, thus more of the ice berg would be above the sea water before it melted. Very Interesting. I'd love to visit Antarctica but unfortunately, I dont have a science degree nor am i very wealthy. It sickens me that this continent has become a place for rich tourists to visit. If i were to go there, i would at least try to contribute something to the science efforts; even if it was just taking notes for a field biologist or something.

what concerns global warming is a natural cycle as we see with evidence over millions of years. If you think CO2 casues global temps to influx you need to do some more research. C02 is only .02 percent of the artopmosphere with humans only contribuitiong 6.5 gigatons of co2 while animals alone produce 150gigatons C02 not counting the oceans and valcoanos.
