  • I really hope any gunmen wont come here to shoot my speakers!

  • So what does 3-5-0-0 mean anyway?

  • @simplenametag

Most probably a metaphor taken from Ginsberg.

Formatted as intriguing but still unknown Distress Call code 3-5-0-0 .

3500 equals the number of calories released out of 1 pound of burnt organinc fat. Probably provoking "l'image" of Napalm.

  • "The most serious issue Hair confronts, which takes over its center in the second act, is the Vietnam War...Most important here is the pairing of "3-5-0-0" (referring to the number of Marines who landed in Vietnam in March 1965) with "What a Piece of Work is Man," derived from Shakespeare...with neither able to do true justice to the loss of human life in the war." page 161, Raymond Knapp, The American Musical and the Formation of National Identity

  • The movie stops me in my tracks. I've had plans but could not pull away. One of the best movies ever. Maybe you have to be 55 or older to love it

  • @07Macbrown

I've personally loved it since I saw it first at 15 :) I'm 24 now.

  • @07Macbrown 23, going on 24, been loving it since I was 8 years old or something like that. And the love is just as strong now as then :)

  • É maravilhosa a sonoridade das músicas do filme Hair...

  • loved tis part in the musical when our towns trupe did it

  • I was standing on the steps of the DC mall with thousands of other extras while they filmed this. I believe it was early in the filming, spring of 78 I think - I had just gotten my drivers license. The dancers were very good and I recall only a few takes before they asked us to run out into the field for the last scene.
