Jesus Christ was crucified for the redemption of the world. He died as a sacrifice for sin because He loves us *meaning people including YOU!*. However the story doesn't end there. HE ROSE! Now we have the chance for eternal life. He is waiting for mankind to receive His Love.

larrypetree go a little further in that chapter and you will read that people should not wear different linens (i.e. cotton and silk together) you may need to clear your closet. We can't take one scripture and ignore the others. That's why Jesus gave the 2 most scriptures love the Lord w/ all your heart, mind and soul and love your neighbor as yourself. On these 2 commandments hang all the law and prophets. I'd rather follow Jesus 2 commandments.
