I think this song is both about growing up and love, twins who are confused in their feelings for one another. Certain lines, such as "our hands were tied with thread", might be a reference to the Japanese legend of the red thread, which connects two people who are destined to be together by a thread around their pinkies. Also, "the urge in me went through my spine" after Len kisses Rin's finger. Urge is a strange word to use between "just" twins. (I shall finish in my next post)
