How-to install flash plug-in for firefox in ubuntu

well the new flash player

get.adobe.com/flashplayer/othe­rversions/

doesn't have an installer inside the tar.gz file it only has one file libflashplayer.so

how do i install that huh

Hey, I really appreciate the tutorial! I'm having an issue with hardy not recognizing the plugin directory /usr/lib/mozilla could this be because of a new directory? I am going to further investigate through forums. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

i know but theres nothing we can do about that is there lol.... i had to reboot under windows to watch it and now im going to have to reboot under ubuntu and try to remember what this tutorial said (N) lol
