  • What the f*ck is this 'music' - horrendous.

  • wow the song sucks

  • @f7kk

the problem is just u, i like this vid as it is, the music fits.

classic in this case would be moronic : )

  • This Song Is Excellent I Think It Suits Da Vid

  • every day in every way i am getting butter and butter......

  • thats really great

  • yea its beautiful, but too bad the WAY it's taught in schools makes almost every kid hate it. and if you hate something since childhood, then lol good luck changing that perspective...

  • maths are genial mon objectif est de remporter un jour la MEDAILLE FIELDS

  • isnt that graph at 2.24 the polat equation for a "cardiod"

  • do I have God????????????????????????????

  • so beautiful !!!! how this is possible?

  • mathematics is quite simply the language of nature.

  • Excellent

  • without youtube we wouldn't have seen this video

  • Without Mathematics, Physics would be Philosophy.

  • Without physics is never philosophy with out math too...

  • physics and maths are like brothers, friends ...

Best friends .. like manifestation of each-other !

  • cute.

  • @mdiem i think cute is not the right terminolgy to describe this

  • works for me..

  • 2:18 it looks like... forget about that

  • Amazing video ! Thanks!

  • 1:00 Homeomorphism ?

    Math beatiful it's truth !

  • bull shit..

  • 'exposition, appreciation and criticism is the work of second rate mind.'

  • nice music and video as well(even though i didnt get the first part), whats the name of the music?

  • this is intresting math is something cool.

  • I fall asleep to this every night with my teddy bear.

  • that was a cool one! :)

  • This is a fantastic video on mathematics. I love the soundtrack also-- what is the song name and artist?

  • ...and have a nice day!

  • This is helping the assertion that you're uncivilized. Generally, swear words does not make one look cool, but as if they are a poser.

It is safe to say that most people on youtube feel the same way.

  • btw play the song backwards and slow down the speed =)

  • No i haven't nor am I those things you said in addition I did not intend for my comment to be offensive towards you and I am sorry if it sounded like that. There is on need for such a harsh response.

  • how does it not make sense ? just by watching the first two minutes you can see that the sphere refers to trigonometric functions such as sine cosine and so on, it also touches on the topography of a sphere and its translation into a plane , right after it you have a complex polynomial , which is also closely related to trigonometrical functions. So if you don't understand it's not the authors fault but yours.

  • I got it and its great! Thank you for the post....

  • that was annoying, i dont get any of it

  • great.! I couldn't understand all of it, but I'll get there.

    Thanx

  • I love your video. Great work!

  • So, you just got those videos from that math visualization project, removed the narrator's voice explaining everything and slapped a random electronic music you like on it.

Thanks for stealing content and making it less interesting at the same time. :|

If you had kept the audio, at least the informative content wouldn't have been lost. You should at least link to the source.

  • Why did someone vote this down? He explained perfectly what the guy did.

Nice music is someone sampling a pine cone and then playing the feedback?

  • If I had the wherewithal to learn how to use animation software, this is the kind of thing I would make. Kudos, it's really beautiful. My favorite part was the torus.

  • whats the name of this song?

  • someone needs to take acid and tell me how awesome this video is. still... god i live math, this was really awesome, kudos!

  • It would have been better if you had sunk the sphere half way down into the plane, as to demonstrate how the Riemann Sphere should be visualized =D

    (just a suggestion!)

  • whats the name of the song/artist, anyone?

  • computerjokeys - train

  • that was a cool one! :)

  • i really like this video, it helps people understand there is a point for maths and it is really a beautiful sight

  • Maybe if it explained what was going on I'd appreciate it a bit more...

  • i like how ur comment got -6 in 1 week for saying math sucks, lol...and now mine is going to as well for replying to it.

  • Projections, transformations, that's just too beautiful! :)

  • give it another lifetime until another wise-ass is going to reject this proof. By then, no one will care because we'll be knee deep in spirituality because we would have used math to destroy our world.

  • Those damn mathematicians. So much destruction.

  • Just love math.

  • amazing

  • this makes me want to go to uni and start mathematics alrady...but i have to wait a few more months :(

  • I've always been able to equate life actions in some kind of geometrical concept which leads me to think that life is math. I don't know why I feel that way, I wish I could understand what this clip means and the other one I just saw a Moebius? clip with the colored squares ... just don't know enough math. It is amazing I'm sure, mind blowing. I'm so jealous! LOL

  • hmmmmmmmmm, doughnuts

  • lol, the first part is from MIB, the first one. Cool vid

  • Don't forget about Terry Tao...

  • ahh yes thats true, i think he was the youngest prof who recieved the fields medal =)

  • that guy was doin yr 10 mathematics at age 7

  • so? i would have do that too if they would have give it to me... its simple like that

  • cool :) It was more so a general comment than to emphasize how smart he was. I wish I could of done the same, maybe I might home school my future kids and give them that opportunity.

  • I hope you'll have an IQ of 220 as he had...

  • @libuntux Actually, Jean Pierre Serre was 4 years younger when he was awarded.

  • I believe Grigori Perelman and Andrew Wiles are one of the greatest mathematicians of 21st century.

  • that is absolutly true =)

  • Can't wait until the latter half of the 21st century, who knows where this beautiful subject will go? Hopefully I will still be kicking it!

  • why wouldnt it still be kicking it? math has been used since ancient times, the maya used it, the ancient chinese invented the concept of negative and positive, the egyptians used it. whats wrong with you? do you really think this subject is in danger of dying?

  • "Hopefully I will still be kicking it!", notice where it says "I" and not it....

  • my mistake.

  • isnt wiles technically part of the 20th since he came up with his proof in 80's and 90's???

  • Did you make this video? Anyways really nice video and very well made.

  • see the website, there are several mathematical videos about topology, i just put them together with music to show what is topology about. (the last equation is from perelman he gets the field medal for his work but dont accept it)
