it pains me to watch this video.I Put some straight 60 weight oil in(super thick stuff) and the tickin disappeared. I plan on replacing all the lifters soon.
LIFTERS! I had the same problem in mine, just take the valve cover off, and take the rockers off and replace ALL the lifters, verry easy job if you know what your doing.
does anyone know where to get a water pump pulley for a 94 mighty max? mine broke and now my truck isn't running. the battery won't charge and the radiator fan won't run and there is no coolant flowing through because of it. if anyone could help i'd really appreciate it!!
hey man i need some help. i have the same truck, 2.4, and i replaced the plugs and wires now it runs like a lawn mower, horrible. i may have misplaced the spark wires on the distributor. can u tell me on urs which wire goes where? thanks
mine got a little better when i tightened the loose spark plug and i put some 5w-20 oil in, but the ticking is still there slightly
try the lighter oil and see if it gets better if it doesnt then its probably an exhaust leak because my truck has that too and it also sounds like valve tick

yeah just today i checked da oil and i realize i was using one too thick for my oil pump to pump thru all da valves so it yu should chek ur oil bro

yeah im currently running 10-40 maxlife with stp oil treatment and marvel mystery oil
what are you running?
and since i tightened that plug it just barely taps

check your spark plugs for tightness, one of mine was loose, my truck still ticks but not nearly as bad now
