Hold my right hand on a differnt spot when I play this piece. I do this because of the different tone it creates. All in all, you did great. Keep it up.
Sounds good!! A couple things here; first, are you using a rest for the guitar that goes between the guitar and your leg, thus removing the need for elevaring the left leg? Secondly, I believe you referred to the barrchorde as nasty. The barrchorde has always been my favourite part of the piece! Thirdly, Francisco Tárrega composed two versions of Estudio. I prefer the sound of the other one, which I have a video of me playing,so check it out. Forthly, as you will notice in my video I hold my rig
SteveGit, Fantastic that you are playing at such a level in so short a time; my own preparation was Sophoclese Papas method, book 1, then Aaron Schearer, 1, 2 and 3...which meant I played nothing I would want to try and impress anyone with for three years!
I also like your recording quality, it looks and sounds very professional. I would like to improve the quality of youtube videos as we will all enjoy them so much more. You have won a new subscriber. I love your style I am personally learning all of your videos. Very nice played and a very good sound quality! This is really nice, i'm planing to learn this myself. Very good sound quality.I study guitar five year ago and one day arrive there. Thanks.
Vabejas, I started playing almost the same time as you (March 2007)and I would be very happy to play at this level. I enjoyed listening very much. I also like your recording quality, it looks and sounds very professional. I would like to improve the quality of youtube videos as we will all enjoy them so much more. You have won a new subscriber.
Have I written to you that I love your music too? There are many good players on Youtube but there are only a certain number of players who can deliver a piece of music with feelings. You are one of them.
Part of the reason I signed up to youtube was to post a comment here. This is one of my favourite pieces and this is the best online video of it being played I have seen. The tempo is just right, and captures the mood of the piece perfectly. Well done!
Wow, thanks a lot charleslemagne! Your comment means a lot to me, this was recorded before I started lessons, musically I'm quite happy with it, technically there is room for improvement.
Anyone who plays classical guitar would surely agree that no matter how well a piece is performed or how good it sounds, there is always "room for improvement". We all do it, don't we? We eventually discover that there's a different technique to play part of a song, and so on. Heck, I've played Tarrega's "Lagrima" for over 35 years, and in just the last month, I've completely changed how I play part of it!
Hello, it is very nice to here you playing this little piece. Your recording has a very good sound quality and i am astonished how clear your playing is.
Thanks for that Julie, always nice to hear from you. I tried to get this one a little bit in shape. I hope you had a nice Christmas, I did, but the guitar wasn't far away. Addicted is the word!
Fabulous, Vabejas! That might just be the best version on YouTube! You are very kind to mention me. But the musicality was all yours. Beautiful! Thanks a lot!

Hi Steve, thank you for your friendly feedback, much appreciated. I will check out your playing as well.
As far as recording quality is concerned, Zoom H2 + Audacity does the trick. It's a cheap yet effective solution.
Take care and enjoy the guitar!

Very nice! One of the best versions I've heard. Most people play it either too fast, or too slow. Yours is perfect!
Tell me, what is the model of your guitar? I've just obtained a new Manuel Rodriguez Model E, and I'm posting a video response showing that guitar.
