I would also not doubt if the two brothers joke with each other of how our media is tightly controlled and they spread misinformation.
Exactly! You said it better. Also, it's all supposed to be some gag instead of having heads roll on Wall Street as they should be. Comedians are not helping the situation, enforcers would. It's a damn shame that Americans don't even take their lives or the fate of their country seriously. Instead it's a joke. They have been brainwashed and cannot break free of their programming to do what his morally right.
jon stewart is way better than letterman. sorry, dave fans, but seriously, jon held a freakin' rally that drew a huge crowd! it was called the Reality to Destory Sanity. what did letterman do? invade the stage that once had the beatles perform in it.
Jon Stewart's brother, Larry Liebowitz, is on wall street and has been linked to flash crashes which steal from Americans. Google it. It is very factual.
The only bogus thing around here is Jon Stewart pretending to be one of the people when he's bankster scum elitist like Bernanke, Paulson, Greenspan, Geitner, Summers and their whole non-producing, parasitic crew.
@biozamadotcom - Whoa... so if my brother gets caught stealing, that makes me a thief?
Jon calls it. He earns a great living by making idiots look like idiots. And if you haven't noticed, he does it very well. Some would argue he does it better than anyone.
@biozamadotcom - I don't think I got my point across in my last post so here it is: Jon Stewart makes a shitload of money calling idiots, "Idiots". He does not need to fleece money from people by pulling scams on "Wall Street". He is the best at what he does and I'm willing to bet he does just fine.
@branded72 The real point is that is it not a coincidence that two related, kosher, hook noses control a media outlet and a financial one. Where's the diversity? This smells like supremacism and elitism as well as being a disinfo agent. You don't rail against Wall Street when your own brother controls the stock exchange. They are related, media/banking. It sucks. And this pied piper has convinced the weak minded public that it is a laughing matter and something to joke about.
Jon Stewart criticizes the financial frauds for not knowing that government intervention causes these problems, and then he calls himself an Obama supporter, after righteously criticizing Bush's similar tyranny. It's amazing how limited human intelligence is.
stewart like all comics takes a kernel of truth and wraps it in a lie. Except he actually wants to appear the sage when he does it rather than the jester.
@mofoul You are neglecting either to mention or realize that he is still Jewish by association. You also are still failing to realize that Judaism is a religion, not a race as previously mentioned. As a result, that makes you quite the fucking moron.
@aspectra So he's Jewish by association, even though he's not religious. Then how exactly is he associated, if the only link is Judasim and not a ethnic background? As for your assertation that Judaism is a religion thats perfectly correct. However you said John Stweart was a JEW with the cultural and ETHNIC implications that go with it. Seeing as you accuse Jon Stewart of being part of some vast Jewish media conspiracy, by the dint of him being Jewish, yes that makes you a racist shithead.
@mofoul I think you got things wrong. For me to be racist in the regarding matter, I would have to be an anti-semite. That I am not, for I do not hate Arabs.
@mofoul No I'm saying Jon Stewart never would have had a career if he wasn't Jewish on any level. Practicing or not, people like Jon Stewart have got positions in the entertainment industry that would have otherwise gone to more talented people.
@aspectra You said Jon Stewart wouldn't have gotten his job on the daily show if he weren't Jewish. Every bigot denies being prejudice when called on it. There is always some twisted justification for their bullshit. In your head, you're thinking something like, "But it's true! The pro-Zionist media recruits Jews!" or some other twisted bullshit. Just go away.
@branded72 Once again, the Semitic people also include but aren't limited to Arabs, Maltese, Amhara, and Tigrinya, and countless others. You are definitely a blind slave to your own ignorance if you so conveniently omit every other ethnicity from your own definition of 'Anti-Semite'.
Being of Maltese descent, hence part Semitic ancestry, I think calling myself an Anti-Semite is something that isn't really up for debate.
@aspectra technically yes, but the guy who invented the phrase anti-semitism invented it to mean anti-jewish feeling. "While the term's etymology might suggest that antisemitism is directed against all Semitic peoples, the term was coined in the late 19th century in Germany as a more scientific-sounding term for Judenhass ("Jew-hatred"),and that has been its normal use since then"
@thew Well seeing as you clearly copy pasted the text directly from wikipedia, you are surely lacking any original thought whatsoever. Just because one German guy coined the word doesn't necessarily mean it applies only to the Jewish people. At the time there were no other people of Semitic origin in Germany. The first group of people who did migrate to Germany on a large scale were the Turks, and that didn't happen until well after World War II.
@aspectra yes - that is why i put it i quotes, because i was quoting something. and yes the guy who coined the word gets to say what it means. and what it meant from the inception was anti-jewish feeling.
@aspectra Well you know there was a time when Jews had a hard time getting anywhere in this country. But they worked hard, focused on education, stuck up for each other, and got into positions of power. Anyone in America can do the same.
Please look past the melodrama you make...and look at the obvious fact that everyone on here gets his substance and unlike you are smart enough to realize so does everyone else.

Bernie Madoff stole from Elie weisel. What and asshole. I read Weisels book Night and the horrors the guy went through are unbelievable and Maydoff stole from him. what a monster.
(sorry for the spelling im not sure how to spell weisel's name correctly so i guessed)
30percent, while we disagree on the ability of Ron Paul to avert this crises, I do wish Obama would do more to reward banks who stayed solvent. Why not re-privatize big banks by putting proven banking executives -- those who avoided bad loans -- at the helm? Or fold what is left of giant failed banks into small solvent ones, with preferred equity participation for taxpayers? Instead, we allow the "me first" culture to run things, then seem surprised they line their pockets.
Imagine Ron Paul was president. We would of been out of this mess 6 months ago because aig, goldman sachs, and every investment bank would of went bust and all the small banks would be picking up the pieces and growing like crazy, hiring all the unemployed people and buying up all the vacant commercial real estate. Its such a shame what this administration is doing. All we talk about is aig bonuses now. They should of failed last year and been done with!
Ron Paul -- someone I enjoy listening to, and who spiced up the otherwise drab Republican debates -- failed to foresee the extent of this crises also. And while the scenario you outline is pleasing to think about, there would be no place for small banks to borrow money. The system was on the verge of collapse. Now we are throwing money at the bad guys and watching them pocket much of it. But make no mistake, the crises took years to create and became a certainty no man could stop.
What do you mean Ron Paul failed to forsee the extent of the crisis? Search for the video of his economic advisor Peter Schiff and Art Laffer on Bloomberg calling both the extent timing of this crisis EXACTLY as Laffer calls him an idiot for saying something so obviously impossible was going to happen...
Ron Paul's admirable assault on banks and the Fed was right on all fronts and he was mocked for it. But I have no knowledge of Ron Paul flagging AIG-style swaps or the derivative instruments at the heart of this crises until the congressional hearings, mid 2007? So my point to the commentator below was that a Ron Paul victory could not have averted the crises already. 30percent stated it would, that all the little banks would pick up the pieces of AIG, etc. I dream too, but really...
Did you find that video I told you would prove what I was saying?? It has nothing to do with specifically pinpointing what was going to make the economy collapse because it wasn't a single event that resulted in this crisis (despite what was at the "heart of the crisis"...) you said that Ron Paul failed to foresee the extent of this crisis, not the exact causes, but he did!! Watch that video, it's hilarious and I bet that Laffer feels like a complete idiot these days.
We are in accord. Ron Paul called it, even if he didn't flag the derivatives, which I believe is why this crises is a cousin of the Great Depression.
Banks don't go from $80 to $2 when a bubble bursts.
I only wish Ron Paul had the sense not to run as a Republican, a broken party that takes him for a fool. Sure, it was the party of small government once, but so what? Ron Paul was too stubborn to run independent. That was an error in judgment, a political fault line that spells doom.
I was praying he ran independent too. But ultimately, the responsibility falls onto the voters who are comfortable being informed by mainstream media. Not to imply the mocking of Ron Paul by the media didn't help.
Ron Paul has been warning of this collapse for A LONG TIME, its a shame more people didn't listen to Paul. When Paul would present his case to the Neo-Con Republicans, they laughed at him at the debates, when he pleaded his case numerous times to congress and to various financial meetings with bankers and the federal reserve they ignored him. No one in power listened to Paul, only a few give him credit for foreseeing this mess.
Rep. and Dem. slander Ron Paul, and the media considers anything he says as a joke, which sucks because that just shows that nothing can get done without huge corporate support, nobody can get elected without selling out and basically becoming a lobbyist. Ron Paul is a G, because he's looking out for the average american, not some defence contractor, or high-yield short-term investments.
they do this intentionally. think of it as a teaser or an ad for the real thing. they want to whet your appetite so you will go watch it on tv where they make the real money. it's not intended as a separate distribution medium. and that's why television will go the way of the dodo.
