Swallow Falls Waterfall Weekend Getaway

How come some times the water is rushing over the Upper and Lower Falls but then sometimes its not... anyone know the answer????

@Debo7613 Water over the falls typically either depends on rainfall or snow melt. Because of the length of the river, rainfall in West Virginia or southern Garrett County can affect how the falls look.

I love going to swallow falls for a weekend getaway.. Great place to swim when its warm enough and great for hiking.. amazing scenery....

Thanks, Railey staff, for coming on the hike -- you guys were great! Video captures Swallow Falls Park very well. As things warm up, we should run into more kayakers at the falls. Fun!
