These trucks are designed for construcion sites, and everybody knows that noone in that business is taking care of something like seatbelts. Thats just what would happen to someone who does not fasten his seatbelt :D

Jut because nothing happened much to the body of truck doesn't mean that the people who are inside the truck will survive. I saw one accident in which truck fell down in around 140 feet gorge and both driver and his assistant died because of internal injuries
