I am sure that is Wayne Shorter, one of the unsung heroes. Wayne was playing a basic ii v i a lot but it sounded great.

@monktrane325 That's Wayne allright. He went on to play soprano a lot during the seventies, but he is a "mother" on the tenor as well. And yes, he tends to be forgotten a bit. Shame, 'cause he is right up there, really, with Sanders, Lloyd, Shepp... he just didn't do very much of the "free" stuff... maybe that's why, I don't know...
