Best Series ( Reasons Why )

Finally A battle ( Solway Moss ) and a siege ( Boulogne) and more of england than just whitehall and hampton court palace. More Locations ( Parliament, Lincoln , York) Scotland finally apears with its army and king and this series looks more colourful and more historically detailed.

Jonathan Rhys Meyers should have been replaced, because he is a false image of the real Henry VIII. Henry VIII was obese during the last years of his life (140 kg), and Catherine was disgusted by this. She turned towards other men. Henry VIII was not a charming man.

Lady Jane Grey was the daughter of the duke of Suffolk, Charles Brandon, and Mary Tudor, his first wife, If I'm right. Lady Jane Grey was queen after Eduard/Edward, Henry's son because they didn't wanted Mary to succeed since she was a devoted catholic. That's why and because of budget probs I guess, they made no sequel.

producers may not want to gamble on a 5th season without a central character like Henry. Edward and Mary may not be enough for them. But for me, it is :) I wish they would consider continuing the story.

They really could have continued on and I think viewership would have actually risen if they had. Edward, Jane Grey and especially Mary's stories are so very beyond exciting. They are so rich...you can't make that stuff up it's so good. The road to Elizabeth would have been wonderful to see.

Please continue the series and go through to the death of Elizabeth 1st! Historical inaccuracies are occasionally annoying but c'est la vie! Fantastic - carry on, Tudors!

I don't understand if this show is called "The Tudors" when all it is about is Henry VIII's reign.I mean this show isn't called "Henry VIII" this IS The Tudors and it's SUPPOSED to be about The Tudor history meaning from Edward VI of England, to Mary I of England, to Elizabeth I of England. I really do hope they continue the series.Because this show is interesting and i desperately want to watch more of it.Maybe they're planning to make a season 5 who knows? Oddly enough, this show changed my opinion about Henry VIII as I factchecked for historical accuracy as I watched(to say the least). Always thought he was a misogynistic psychopath but when viewed in the context of his position as KOE & that time, think he was struggling to do what all kings were expected to do, produce an heir(and a spare) but was quite misguided when it came to selecting his women. Woundn't call him the 'greatest ruler' but understand him better-he wasn't the monster I thought

There's great storylines with Edward (how the Seymour brothers fought over power, Katherine Parr'slove and sad death, Elizabeth/Tom Seymour storyline, Edward embarrassing Mary,his reign and early death) Mary (Lady jane Grey, her marriage to Philip, her imaginary pregnancies,etc) and last but not least, Elizabeth (there's too much intrigue there for me to list!!)
