I absolutely agree with you...I lost my sister 22 yrs ago & I still feel as if I miss her as if it were yesterday.
She wasn't supposed to die, she committed suicide & that is why this movie is so close to my heart!

Truly awesome, Lange, Keaton and Spacek were absolutely wonderful. Sisters can never be replaced by anyone else. In memory of Rhonda, November 23, 2007. Rest in peace sweetie. Jana and I will be coming later so save us a place.

@goberd1 Awe...that is so sweet & I so identify w/ you, since my sistercommitted suicide 23 yrs ago.
I think she is waiting for me in Heaven & I hope she finally found some happiness & peace!
She left 2 sons behind that were only 12 & 16 and to this day they have many issues, despite I TRIED to be a mother for them.
