How dare you guys say Archie kicks Ryan's butt. Ok, perhaps Archie is the better singer, but it IS Ryan who wrote the smash hit, the lyrics at all. Without Ryan, there would not have been even the song for Archie to sing. Mind you, Archuleta is a great singer.

Next time, don't put such a great singer-songwriter down that easily. There are many professional singers singing professional products, but only some actually show true musicianship by writing their own songs.

I have to say that I disagree with about everything XsupermanFBI said below about the duet. It also got a standing ovation by Simon Cowell if you watch to the end of the video. That says a lot to me since Brits are not like Americans and do not easily give standing ovations.

To me, this was the worst duet in the show (IMHO). Arch came into the song sounding very different than the other guy that it didn't not blend. Then when it came time for them to sing together, it was a total mess. That's because Arch has only one comfortable range that he uses again & again in every song. Arch is supposed to follow his range and his oohhs, aahhhs oh oh oh aaaahhhhhh aaaahhh..yey-eh yey-eh yey-eh uhhhhhh were just all over the place. His duet with Cook sounded better.

Electrifying Performance and Fantastically Beautiful. David, is so natural when he sing he doesn't try to over power the other guy -they just blend so good. This kid is exceptionally talented. I can't wait for his cd to come out. You could see his humbleness it so natural.

it's rather depressing that David A didn't win; he did so consistently well all season, && then he was amazingly spectacular in the finale.. && he was so close to tears after each performance. he's so real; what a sweetheart. but he's still a winner.

his vocals during that performance were abolutely stunning, so much more than OneRepublic's. :O and i do love OneRepublic, i have their album. but i hope they release this song together; it's crazy incredible.
