@DaFilingPals haha sorry, but you are wrong. the mainboard is not the issue. he can't access the recovery partition which loading a partition wouldn't help either because the actual hard drive is shot. not the mainboard.
@tawinder Do you have a Windows CD? Your options are limited, re-install windows. Basic stuff, boot from the CD, install, click click click, configure. That's all I can recommend.
I'm having the same problem with my computer. All you have to do is put in your recovery disks. How to get he computer tobread the disk? ANWSER: turn off computer and turn it back on then when it starts up keep pushing F12 till a menu pops up hen click on the CD/ext.... Thenput in disk have it load and read the screen and push the buttons it tells you to to start the program.
@belisetq your drive is shot. it being 3 months ago I'm sure you've already done something with it. but if you install a new drive, load your OS on that drive. you'll be back and running strong with a fairly cheap (and easy!) fix.
i am having the EXACT same problem and i dont have any cds or anything and even if i did it doesnt recognize discs ,does anyone know how to fix this issue i dont understand how this happened any replies would be helpful ,.thanks

The Problem are your window set up= try to reinstall you pc if he same problem pop up again.
You should buy a new pc because something wrong with your motherboard

set up to boot devices then move the cd/rom to boot before hard drive. Its reading the hard drive first still. So manually do it.
