Take notice that both major haplogroups that make up the majority of the Ethiopian and Egyptian gene pool are virtually non-existent in West Africa.

They're research was based on current populations not ancient populations so one cannot make that arguement. The 81 human populations that they are refering to are modern day populations. You cannot relate this to the existence of God. The earliest Greek Gods were African copies!! The Goddess Isis is a greek copy of Ast an Egyptians goddess!! You know the Virgin Mary or is this just a coincidence!!

Within the constraints of geography & their transportation systems, people back then intermingled, much like they do today. The Egyptians were much more involved with, influenced by & had an influence on other eastern Mediterranean cultures than they were with, by or on other, more distant parts of Africa.
Someone out there should write a good, non-biased book about the ancient civilizations of central & southern Africa & promote it to a mass audience.
