Willow lake beneath Humboldt if I remember correctly? I certainly do remember that wind! We left Crestone winter of '82, I last climbed Crestone peak summer of '80.

Just out of curiosity, was the USGS marker on the East Peak (of Crestone Peak)? I climbed to the West side and couldn't find it there.

Also, on a clear day you can make out Pikes Peak from the summit.

Great job! I only made it up the Needle. The traverse sounded like fun, but looked like not so much fun. Maybe someday.
