How is it that J can get away w/ 3 stacks of Marshalls ala Jimi and Lou only has one? Shouldn't J's guitar drown out Lou's bass sound?

Oh I do appreciate it having seen him live on his own, with the Fog and with Dino. I just wonder whether a second guitarist for live gigs wouldn't be a help to him. Solos from any guitarist are always hit and miss, we wait for the great ones and try to forget the sloppy ones.

One of the few Dino Jr songs where it is hard to match the album version. Usually they are even better live.

Not really true because on the albums there is more than one guitar. When J solos live he obviously has to stop playing rhythm and that leaves a very big hole in the sound. Also his soloing can be a bit hit and miss live. Sometimes it's just a bad noise.
