  • i speak 5 different language but believe it or not english is backwards... out of all like when i say something in hungarian to spanish its the same, spanish to french its the same, french to polish its the same but when i do hungarian, spanish, french, polish to english the words get mixed up

  • I have to say that the English is hard for the frenchs too =D for the "r" for exemple x)

or th "e" how can be prononciate like a "i" (french prononciation) or a "e" (french too)

But I don't know befaure (sorry for my bad english i'm french =S) that English peoples can love french x) . French how love english i know ('cause I love English x)) So see you and have a good Learn =)

  • @CyberLink580

No, english is very easy for the french people, for example i'm fifteen and for me it's very easy to understand british people, but i think the american people are speaking too fast, i can't understand !

  • Now, i speak french fluently ... i'm french ... et toc ^^

  • Try to pronounce Quatre with these tips: "Quat" is similar to KAT in spanish or italian - remeber pronunce a dental T. In English, depending on dialect is like COT or CAT. The final "re" is similar to spanish JE, but make a schwa sound with E, not a proper spanish E. I think that english pronoun HER has similar pronunciation if you do it without final R and clear H. Then put these syllables together and quickly.

  • uguyè-_é"sv cdéa

  • 4 is kat...

    or Cat

    although it is spelt Quatre

  • @alliecat149 Actually, "Quat" is Kat, but there's a "R" at the end.

  • How easier it would be if all letters had to be pronounced in French.

It makes me just crazy when I'm trying to read something- 1\2 of all letters are not pronounced. Interesting, how long does it take to learn French by nearly Intermidiate level? Share your expirience please
