@kylelandry Can you answer one question I have about this piece? How should I go about learning it?. It's so difficult picking it up by ear and reading it seems to be above my level, but I remember reading somewhere you said before for us to challange ourselves with something we like and try and learn it. So what should I do? I would even pay for an online lesson depending on how much you want lol. Got a car payment, but I've no doubt it'd be worth it cause I would learn something new I bet.
You should write "Impromptue" with an -e T_T but it's not very important, because this was just the best interpretation I ever heard :D You are very talented!!
@pittigepiet i imagine its the classical music purists that dislike this, also, critics dont have to dislike something because they know they can do better, film critics dont dislike qauntum of solace because they think they can make a better movie, they dislike it because its a shit film!
MY GOD WHY ARE YOU SO CREATIVE AND BRILLIANT AT PIANO?!?! I hope that studying in college will get me this far. So badly I wish I could play like this and just read threw pieces of music like they're nothing so hard to read like you do.
can i just say, you are honestly the best pianist ive ever seen play, u play endless genres of songs all with excellent quality. i have been playing piano since i was 6 (19 now) and am amazed by all of your videos. im currently learning "those who fight" and also fantasie impromptu which i hope to have finished by this year. my goal is to be able to play at your standard and one day hopefully come close to the standard of a pianist you are!! your my inspiration, pure genious!
@gayerest I wasn't asking for a thumbs up. If you take a look at the "Like" button, you'll notice that is also bears a "thumbs up" symbol. I was merely communicating the fact that I tremendously enjoyed the video. I appreciate your use of vulgar language in further demonstration of your meager intelligence, however. I'll give you a thumbs up for that.
Bravo! You're an inspiration to any piano player no matter what level they're on. I think Chopin would be proud of this, especially with the variations!
Wow... Every. Video. I. Watch.... JUST WOW! Made me cry a little at the end because im so amazed. I'm going to show my gran these, she loves classical :)
People who say that they have hard time playing a real grand piano means they're not used in playing that kind of piano (your fingers will get used to it) and must have been playing an electric keyboard through out their life. Well for Kyle, he's simply GREAT.
I feel like you're really good at making simple music very complex. BUT, fantasie impromptu is extremely complex to begin with, so this just kinda fell down. :/
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
I think the reason he can play it so fast is because he is playing on an electric piano, which usually have virtually no resistance in the keys. Thumbs up if you agree.
@edawg792 Totally not true. I have an electric piano and the keys are noticeably heavier than my acoustic piano. I find that playing fast is easier with heavier keys.
@kylelandry Well, it seems that I have been horribly misunderstood here. Firstly, I did not mean to insult anyone here, so my apologies to you Kyle. Secondly, this was the first and last time that I have asked for thumbs up. I just wanted to see if it would work for me like it does other people. Finally, I am not a whore, I am just another curious pianist. It seems that some of the hateful replies to my comment were just people trying to fit in and go along with the crowd.
@kylelandry Hey Kyle, to start, you're awesome man...I play the piano as well and I was wondering if you could help me out with something. I need to play an audition piece for a music college in a few weeks, and I was wondering if you could help me out with the fingerings to this piece for the right hand section at the very beginning? I would appreciate it if you could but if u can't youre still awesome
@natalicious787 Well I was wondering why you took it so personally and called my comment disgusting, but then I looked at your channel and saw that you were friends with Kyle. Like I said in my recent comment, I did not mean to offend anyone here, especially Kyle. I was just giving an idea. Anyways, I hope we are on better terms now. Sorry if I offended you.
@edawg792 I just like his stuff a lot.. whatever, its not like I'm the only one feeling this way. Your comment is not shown anymore since it got so many dislikes

@TrueShinobi17 A Steinway has nothing to do with it? it's not the MOST heavy weighted piano in the world... the keyboard is worth somewhere over 1k by YAMAHA...i'm pretty sure they know what they're doing about the resistance
@edawg792 You're probably just jealous that you don't have awesome fast fingers. It's not the piano, it's the person, I'm sorry your fingers are feeble and weak. That sucks for you :P
@SislerPianoPlaya Ok really, that comment was a month ago. I already apologized, so you can stop insulting my fingers, which, I assure you, are not feeble and weak.
@XDXDXDXDXDXDXD Because you would see that I already apologized for my comment, and think before you make weird insulting comments like the one you did before.
@edawg792 Ya know, they came out with this brilliant new invention... It's called *gasp* WEIGHTED KEYS! And if you've ever played a P-155 you know that it has some really good weighted keys
@piano3479 Weighted keys actually only go to a certain extent. I own a P-155 and an upright grand, after you get used to the P-155 a real piano feels a lot heavier, but it's still manageable to play at least. In fact, it gives a quite smooth feel when you play on a real piano with p155-adapted fingers.
I was like "theres no way he could improve on chopin's masterpiece" and yet you've outdone yourself once again... Bravo Landry, Bravo! everything you touch turns to gold.
