I think that there's this 1 year intensive arabic course running in an Egyptian university which is free and has free accomadation. And apparently, people who go there become really fluent and learn really quickly since they're in an arabic speaking country to learn quickly. Insha'Allah, I plan on going in the late months of 2012.
What I got to say is, Arabic isn't tough to learn or it isn't a difficult language. Maybe it's because I've been using the language since I was 4 yrs old. I'm an Indian and my parents speak Arabic fluently. That too could be a reason why. Right now, due to lack of practice, I can't speak that fluently like before but I do understand pretty well. :)
hahaha the first joke had me rolling! good luck with your arabic endeavors. it helps to be around arabic speaking people and watch arabic shows with english subtitles.
@qwertyfshag when I went to live in an Arabic country, I had to leave my Arabic class and go learn Arabic with the second graders. Now, I am very fluent, so yes you may be right!
Hehehehe, it was really funny. But you said the letter ح perfectly, will done.
The idea of joining children school sounds really weird, isn't? Though I think it will bring you huge benefits specially if you pretend a child who loves playing with kids very much.
School is an excellent environment to master any language, Actually, I saw many children learned foreign languages just from attending school. My kids have this experience too.
But how would you feel among too young kids? And how wo
Mash2allah najdi dialect loool. Certain things just need time and insha2allah with time you will learn. If you have good grip over Qur'anic arabic then the rest will get easy. Allah ye3ainak ya a5oy.
HERE's a comment you won't read everyday: "Arab Christians" understand the Quran and reject it because Arab Muslims never shared Islam with them. Quertyshag, if you have non-muslim arab friends, give them the Quran! IT appears the Arab Muslims never offered a Quran to arab christians in 1,000 years. (exaggerating)
ok Subtitles: 0:39 - 0:42 The teacher: qwertyfshag, how are you ? 0:43 - 0:47 qwetryfshag: Every thing is Pigeons (He said hamam instead of tamam which means good), *pointing to the book* "i am a cow" (He said baqra which means Cow instead of saying aqra'a which means reading) 0:52 Father: how are you my friend? 0:54 Son: Dad Dad, This man is 30 years old, and he a student in a school. 1:04 Father: Subhan allah (Glorious is God) Thirty Years old !? 1:09 Son: Yes, and he is an "ahmaq" (idiot)
Hahaha .. I like it ..i know the Arabic is hardest language to to learn .. so i need to thank "Allah" because i born in Saudi Arabia and i can read the Qur'an
I think Arabic is hard to learn because there aren't very many resources. I tried going to an adult school that teaches Arabic to foreigners but I didn't learn anything. I have tried private tutors. I have tried audio programs. My best success is with computer programs because I can make it repeat each word thousands of times. I really want to try going to grade 1 in an Arabic school. I think that is just crazy enough to work.
@qwertyfshag I think if you use Arabic regularly when speaking to people you will improve, quite difficult though when you live in a western country. Try and associate more with Arabic speaking people, at the mosque or something and you may learn a little. It takes alot of time may I add
