I was there, in the front row, cryin'! I am a big PF fan, and this is the closest I can get. A little bit too young to have seen their glory days.. Will se Australian Pink Floyd Show in February in Stockholm! Love it, best tribute-band ever. Playing at David Gilmour's birtday, that must mean they're good, and hey, they were =)Tanks for the vid, brings back memorys from my best night ever!
Going to see them tomorrow night in Tulsa...can not wait! I'll never be able to see the real deal. But, sounds like they are up to the task or they wouldn't be allowed the PF name addition. They must be good enough for the fans that burn with a desire to see more than 1-2 covers from some so-so local band. I've heard early REAL PF sound tracks, and, as much as I LOVE them, they were NOT a great live band in the beginning. Still, one of my top two bands of all time.
ssaw them here in kansas city Mo. they fukin rocked!! the crowd was on there feet the whole show tears were rolling down my face to think I only got to see Floyd 1 time in 94 these guys have really picked up the ball and ran w/it! best "tribute band" out there they now have the whole pulse stage show David gilmore kinda passed the floyd tourch to them!
Glad to see everyone standing here. It really pissed me off how dead the fans were in Manchester, NH, I stood for the last three songs, you would have thought it was classical music by the audience's contentment.
Hey PolysaturatedFat, If PF would ever tour again, there wouldn't be so many people making money off PF. I saw the real PF in 1989 by chance and I was hooked. Then I saw them again in 1994. I thought they were on a 5 year cycle but here we are - 13 years later - and PF still hasn't been on tour since. I guess if I can't have the real PF, I will have to enjoy a really good tribute band such APF. I look forward to APF coming my way soon!
You are more like Roger and less like gilmour. This is the ONLY band blessed by both of them to use the name and tour on the name of music. They sound so great, and they really have a incredible show. Yeah they are making money off PAYING TRIBUTE to their favorite band ever and damnm they do it SO WELL.
Seeing them tonight. Cant wait for the show.

The other would be RUSH, who can get along, or Zepplin, who will never be. I'd like to see a great Zep tribute band that is licensed.

It almost pisses me off that there's people out there making money off Pink Floyd.
I just don't think I like it.
