The hunter racks the cartridge and the next shot is the buck standing there just fine, shaking it's head. The Sailfish, in it's glory, leaping out of the water. Despite the best efforts of these humans and their superior technology, animals still often win. It's not all human-centric...

As already said, this is an amazingly inspirational promo for Versus and anybody who watches it can barely resist standing up and cheering for the great world of sports in general. Even though it may seem "a stretch" to have the hunting and fishing footage in there, Versus is interested mainly in promoting its on-air content and I feel as though it accomplished that perfectly. The shot of the hunter racking another cartridge into his rifle has the same heart-pounding intensity as the cage fight.

I will concede that barrel racing is definitely a sport, it has a clock and is 2 humans on horseback racing each other. But calf roping, bronc riding, bull riding, etc. are not.
