  • That has got to be the lamest mob I have ever seen from 3:51 onwards.

  • That has got to be the lamest mob I have ever seen... 3:51 onwards.

  • cushing played the good guy, cushing played the bad guy, but this is the only role where he plays a complete asshole ))

  • @MoveOverCasanova

That's a bit unfair, he's trying to... ah, but that'd be giving the ending away. It's probably the most genuinely tragic of Hammer's concoctions, appropriately given the tale's Greek origins. The only real baddie's the title character when she's having one of her bad hair days, and even she probably can't help it.

  • this is my, aaaahsisstent......

    yes, an assistent like

barbara shelley surely could make a big man of a scientist

  • Police used the same excuses then as they do now.

  • cigarettes did NOT have filters back then..lol

  • @sheilatx actually some brands did. Not only that, some brands of cirarettes then also had hashish in them as well.

  • Glaring error here - Megaera was one of the Fates - NOT one of the Gorgons - they meant Medusa.

  • Silly me - I meant Furies not Fates....

  • Megaera sounds more terrible. In Portuguese it is synonymous with 'bad woman'. It seems to me that the Hammer atmosphere is similar to Robert Howard's Hyborian Age - inspired by mythology/ history, the rest is fantasy.

  • Nahhh, Medusa was killed by Perseus.

  • @garwento Sorry, You're wrong. Three Parkas were Clotho, Lachesis and Atropos. And Megaera is one of the Erinyes - the ones who punished for crimes. Her sisters were Alecto and Tisiphone. All six named above were actually godesses, unlike Gorgons, mere monsters. Two of three Gorgon sisters, Stheno and Euryale were imortals, ad Medusa was mortal and was slain by Perseus

  • @Carmela1881 Was Megaera not the first wife of Hercules (no reference to the Disney film!).

  • @Andyscobie

No, that lady's name was Megara

  • @Carmela1881 Thank you

  • Hey Patrick Troughton, the 2nd Doctor Who.

  • those women those days had no ass what so ever,

  • ahahaha! nonsense of course, but funny none the less :~))))

  • that's why the bustle was invented. hell with those whalebone staves they had to wear under their clothes it's no wonder they weren't able to eat much. they could barely breathe.
