@SuperBT1987 I have a toshiba laptop that runs on windows vista, my modem is thru AT&T and it is a uverse package, there is a AT&T/ motorola modem, and a linksys ec1000 modem together. My laptop used to run online but then one day it just wouldn't connect. It's been at least 3 years since I have been able to use my laptop online

turn on your wireless modem (it depends on ur laptop) by switch or pressing FN + wireless button, the click your lan icon > connect to a network > refresh

be sure ur linksys router is in auto/mixed mode - b-g-n mode

Lol . Dude . It Happens Sometimes To Me Too (: But Hey If Your Using Lappy GOOD NEWS ! U Know This Wireless Button On Your Lap Top ? U Might Have Pressed It By Excident . Re On It . If Its On , And Same Problem . Restart Your Computer . If it still fails . Go to internet Explorer . On the top right , Below the address bar , click Tools , Then Internet Options Then Go To Advance , Then Press Default . If That Dosent Work . REPAIR UR COMPUTER :D

try bypass the wireless router try plug direct the enhnet cable and turn on the local area.

Hey have you seen if your wireless switch is on? Or maybe check your wireless internet connection on your linkys router go online to your ip adress and see what your router status is please try thankyou. I hope this works also see if your drivers are installed correctly reinstall them if not :-)

okay there is something wrong with the wireless cars on the laptop.

1. The driver is not vista compatible and you have to download one that is.

2. It could be disabled

3. Or it could be broken or you might not even have one
